Stonesafe have now applied their expertise to solving the problem experienced by cemetery managers of securing unstable stones.

A simple, low cost and aesthetically pleasing system has been developed which clamps to the head of the stone.

NEW FOR 2006: Side Fitting Memorial Support - where the bar is positioned to the side of the headstone.

This has been tested at Chichester Cemetery where flint/chalk soil conditions present problems. Following the test of the Stonesafe Temporary Memorial Support System, Chichester District Council are now carrying out a full evaluation and my intention is to obtain a safety certificate.

A second test has been carried out at Portsmouth Milton Road Cemetery where there are very different soil conditions. The cemetery manager expressed enthusiasm for the system and is happy to endorse it.

Following these tests, there have been requests from a number of other authorities for a demonstration.
